Update 10th July 2016
Primrose Mouse Rescue has sadly now closed. The majority of our animals have found loving new homes, but those that aren't suitable for adoption (the elderly and frail) will remain with us and be loved and well cared for. If you are looking to adopt a rodent, or need to find a home for one, please have a look at the "Contact Details and Links" page for the rescues we recommend. Thank you.

----------------------------

Welcome to the website of Primrose Mouse Rescue. We are a small home-based rescue located in North Nottinghamshire and we have been taking in unwanted rodents, particularly mice, for many years. One of the rooms in our house has been converted into "the mouse room" where we have a number of large cages to accommodate our furry friends.

We take in unwanted mice regardless of their age, health or temperament. Healthy mice are put up for adoption after a period of assessment, but elderly or infirm mice remain with us for the rest of their lives and receive whatever care and veterinary treatment they need.

If you have a mouse or mice you can no longer care for, please get in touch. Space is limited here, but we will help wherever possible and we may be able to collect.

If you can offer a loving home to any of our mice, please read through the
Adoption Process first, then have a look at the Ready for Adoption page. Mice that have recently come into our care and those still under assessment are listed in the Under Assessment page.

Although primarily a mouse rescue, we do occasionally help with other small rodents such as gerbils, hamsters etc. To see any other rodents in our care, please have a look at the
Other Rodents In Need page. If you have a small rodent you need to rehome, please get in touch. Even if we can't help you we may be able to put you in touch with someone who can.

Primrose Mouse Rescue also has a
Facebook page, so please Like Us to keep up to date with the latest mousey news.

Thank you for visiting our website.
